Current Launch Prices

Using converted ICBMs such as the Dnepr you can get costs as low as $1000 per lb. For new rockets the best prices are about $2000 per lb. For example the the Soyuz and the Zenit (which is used by SeaLaunch) are both about $2,000 per lb.

The Falcon-V from SpaceX is expected to be about $1,200/lb.
